The Force Urbania per km rate is ₹25 on every van we run. A 7 seater and a 17 seater cost the same per kilometre. Only the day rate moves, and it moves once, at the 12 seater mark. That is the whole Force Urbania rental price: ₹25 per km, and a day rate of either ₹5,000 or ₹6,000.
For a local trip inside Coimbatore, the day rate covers the vehicle and the driver. For an outstation trip, we work the fare out on total distance travelled at ₹25 per km, and driver bata is charged on top. The Force Urbania is newer, has a monocoque body, and rides noticeably better on long stretches. Seats recline properly and the cabin is quieter. It is the one to take to Ooty or Munnar if the group cares about arriving un-jostled.
A tempo traveller costs less per day and does the job on shorter local runs, temple trips and staff transport. If the drive is under two hours and the budget is tight, take the tempo traveller.
The Force Urbania stops at 17 seats, which is sixteen passengers and a driver. There is no 20, 25 or 30 seater Urbania, whatever you may have seen listed elsewhere. People search for one often enough that it is worth saying plainly.
Past that, take a 20 seater or 22 seater mini van. They drive like the Urbania and park like it too, which matters in Coimbatore traffic. A 23 seater tempo traveller covers the same range at a lower day rate.
